A Liszt-, és Artisjus-díjas Fekete-Kovács Kornél és zenekara, a Modern Art Orchestra 2023-ban két alkalommal ad koncertet a Harcsa Veronika Udvarban, a Művészetek Völgyében.
A Modern Art Orchestra két nagyzenekari koncertjén - július 26-27-én - ezúttal a művészetközi kapcsolódásokra helyezi a hangsúlyt. Az első napon a képzőművészeté lesz a főszerep, másnap a versek világába kalauzol a 19 fős bigband.

A versek önmagukban is zeneiséget, dallamot hordoznak. A MAO zeneszerzőit a hangzó, életre kelt verszövegek inspirálták a felcsendülő, nagyzenekarra komponált darabjaik megírásában. A MAO előadásában a szöveg és a zene játékában a ritmus, a tempó, a melódia és a jelentés hat egymásra, fonódik egybe.

On their second day of performing, the 19-piece orchestra will take a journey into the world of poems. The poems hold a sense of musicality and melody themselves. While writing their pieces for a large orchestra, the composers of MAO were inspired by the lyrics of these poems that come alive and come to sound. In MAO’s performance rhythm, tempo, melody, and meaning intertwine and interact in the play of text and music.
