Contemporary Music, 2019

Contemporary Music comes with 7 compositions, all from different composers. As the title suggests, the album focuses on componists of the 20th and 21st century, including Béla Bartók, Péter Eötvös and Igor Stravinsky, next to the composers of Modern Art Orchestra’s creative crew. MAO plays Contemporary Music is dedicated to the memory of András Mohay and Gábor Varga, whose brilliant musicianship is forever conserved on this recording as well.
