Gábor Cseke


Gábor studied at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music with a major in advanced piano. In addition to performing, he is also a dedicated teacher. He has played with Kornél Fekete-Kovács since 2002 and has been the pianist of Modern Art Orchestra since the beginning. His extraordinary musical sensitivity makes for a huge part of the band’s soul. He is a member of numerous renowned Hungarian jazz formations, and the artistic director and accompanist of the Hungarian Radio talent contests. He is an eMeRTon Prize-winner for his work in composition and piano, and in 2008 he was also awarded the Artisjus Prize for his outstanding work in the presentation of Hungarian music.
