MAO Sacred Music

JAZZ COMPOSITIONS PLAYED AT SACRED PLACES

At the Sacred Music concerts the musicians of MAO play sacred compositions transcripted by contemporary composers at religious places. The repertoire of the program is assembled from classical pieces of Georg Friedrich Handel and Henry Purcell, but also from the compositions of MAO’s members. Besides pieces of Gábor Cseke, János Ávéd and Kornél Fekete-Kovács there is also Duke Ellington’s Sacred Concert on set.
