
Péter Kovács
Tuba
He graduated from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music as a tuba artist in 2002. Already during his studies he had great success in a number of contests. In the 2004 Budapest Tuba Conference, he won the first prize as a member of the Bass Tuba Quartet, formed in 2001. Péter also scored international success as a member of the Small Brass Quintet. He has been a member of MAO since 2005, he teaches tuba at the Bartók Béla School of Arts and is also a permanent member of the Dohnányi Ernő Symphony Orchestra.
