Zoltán Varga

Zoltán is a horn artist, a dedicated soloist and music teacher. He became a member of the MR Symphony Orchestra in 1983 and soloist of the orchestra in 1986. His bands have been successful both in Hungary and abroad. As a soloist, he is devoted himself to Hungarian contemporary music. He has been awarded the Artisjus Prize six times and the Liszt Ferenc Prize for his work in this field. His career as a teacher came to a milestone when Mr. András Batta, rector of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, invited him to become an assistant professor at the institute in 2010. He continues teaching there as an associate professor.
